Lisa was a guest at Mechacon in Lafayette, Louisiana August 1-3, 2008. She performed a solo concert at the banquet dinner on Friday night, with a special guest singer Ilaria Graziano. Ilaria has sung on many of Yoko Kanno's anime albums from Ghost in the Shell, Wolf's Rain, and Cowboy Bebop. Ilaria performed with Lisa on Lisa's song "Ikiru" on Friday.

On Saturday, Lisa performed Ilaria's songs, "I Can't Be Cool" and "I do" from Ghost in the Shell (music by composer Yoko Kanno) with Ilaria and guitarist Francesco Forni, and was backed up on Ikiru. It was an amazing concert! It was Lisa's first time performing in Italian, and Ilaria's first time performing in Japanese. Lisa also enjoyed meeting new friends from Cowboy Bebop and Robotech, and seeing many olf friends and fans again.

Lisa is having a wonderful time performing at the Macintyre and village Ceilidhs in Taynuilt, Scotland. Here she is wearing her mom's Macintyre tartan made into a kimono by kimono designer Stephanie Cote standing next to the highland games singing champion from Colorado, Boni Macintyre. Lisa and Boni will be singing the Arms for Glen Noe at tomorrow evening's banquet in Oban, Scotland.

Tonight (7/17) Lisa translated and performed the Skye Boat song, a traditional Scottish ballad in Japanese. She also performed her new original song that she wrote for the Macintyres as well as the Lizard and the Turtle. Last night's performance of "Pearl Diver" was not only an ode to the Ama divers of Japan, but an ode to the Macintyre motto "Per Ardua." Lisa really enjoyed hearing all of the talented local and visiting singers, fiddlers, harpists, pianists, pipers, and accordian players. She even got coerced into dancing a few jigs. Each night the Ceilidhs ended with a beautiful tradition where the audience joined hands and sang Auld Lang Syne.

Lisa had a great time at Anime Supercon in Ft. lauderdale this past weekend. She enjoyed performing two concerts and meeting new fans and old friends. Lisa performed her translation of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force theme song in Japanese for the Aqua Teen crew.
